| Fall Production 2008: "Looking for George" and "I Know Angelo" |
|
Suitcase in Point presents... September 11, 12, 13 and 18, 19, 20 Looking for George, a dark farce, tells the unfolding story of a pregnant woman, her missing father and epileptic toy poodle. Directed by Lewis, and featuring company members Miles Coverdale and Natasha Pedros, the play is a wild ride through exaggerated characters, highly improbably plot situations and slapstick comedy. I Know Angelo, Lewis’ adaptation of the same-titled short story by acclaimed author, Heather O'Neill ('Lullabies for Little Criminals’), is a tender illustration of the tenuous love between two young prostitutes, featuring beautiful portrayals of complicated people by Dee Jones and Edwin Conroy.
