The Keith Richards One Woman Show is Rolling Into Toronto

Keith Richards' much-anticipated autobiography was released within days of Suitcase in Point's St. Catharines premiere of The Keith Richards One Woman Show. After playing to sold-out audiences in St. Catharines, FIXT POINT will host the show for two nights only on November 26^th and 27^th.

Created by Suitcase in Point Co-Artistic Directors Cole Lewis and Deanna Jones, this show collides fantasy, rock 'n' roll and a few wild surprises in its exploration of image, excess and the inspiring endurance of the legendary co-founding member of the Rolling Stones.

Actor Deanna Jones plays multiple characters and a few signature licks while taking audiences on a dream-like journey of Keith's life through the eyes of a young ambivalent woman. What happens when Keith enters her dreams and won't leave?

"This production was inspired by Richards' bad boy image and acknowledges how honesty helps us find out who we really are," says Jones.

Suitcase in Point is thrilled to have musician and Rolling Stones enthusiast Kevin Richardson (a.k.a. Attic Daddy) collaborating on the project. Not only does Richardson play a riveting, live rock score during the show, but he also contributed to the play's development, offering rare beta tapes, books and magazines along with a wealth of Stones knowledge.

Suitcase in Point has a reputation for bringing theatre to unique venues and is thrilled to perform The Keith Richards One Woman Show at FIXT POINT's intimate studio in Parkdale. The St. Catharines-based company hopes to hit a major chord with Toronto audiences.
