Suitcase in Point presents The Merchant Ale House, 98 St. Paul St., St. Catharines
Description: Sunday, October 1, 2006 celebrates the fifth anniversary of Cabaret for Suitcase in Point at The Merchant Ale House. In the spirit of Dionysus, share a toast, on the final Sunday of The Wine Festival, and celebrate 5 years of existence, friendship, honesty on stage, and debauchery everywhere! The evening will consist of original video screenings, dramatic performance, music, dancing, cake and a near 1000 surprises. The Williams (Dave Clark, Lewis Melville, Scott Cameron, Blake Howard, Joe Lapinski), will join Suitcase in Point to douse the evening with the perfect amount of debauched, musical interruptions. The Wape and Grine Cabaret was the very first variety show that Suitcase in Point held at The Merchant Ale House. That was in 2001 when, we in Niagara celebrated The Grape and Wine Festival (oh how time flies). Since then Suitcase in Point (voted “Best Theatre Company” in 2005 by Pulse readers), has performed over 15 Cabarets in St. Catharines. Cabaret Sauvignon; “Cheers to Five Years” will be a true party and heart felt thank you to our audience for supporting our risks, celebrating with us, and feeding our growth in the community. Come and take unabashed pleasure, as we share new work, recall our past, and launch ourselves into another five years of new risks in theatre! |
