| Current Artistic Vision |

SIP creates, workshops and performs one play per year. We agree that by keeping our work current we connect with our community and encourage dialogue. We make work that is accessible to a general audience and create performances that are highly physical and entertaining. We collaboratively create work that celebrates different possibilities through engaging the community in dialogue. Every year, we attempt to create one new work. Our immediate goal is to spend nine weeks creating this work in three separate stages:
We also regularly perform in cabarets. These cabarets are multi-functioning tools in our artistic process:
Our vision is to collaboratively create new and inspiring Canadian performances that engage the community in dialogue and are relevant to our current experiences. It is also our vision to create educational programs for teenagers that teach collective creation and community ethics. These programs aim to inspire physical activity and performance creation in a supportive and open environment. |
